I’m an Audit Manager and Professional Accountant with strong internal audit and financial accounting experience, plus a background in information technology environments. In my current role, I conduct operational audit reviews across the FMN group to identify control gaps and provide sustainable, value-added recommendations to management.
At Flour Mills Nigeria (FMN), I prepare the financial year audit plan, follow up on audit findings, and produce reports for statutory meetings, including Board Audit and Risk Committee (BARC) and the Statutory Audit Committee. I also participate in Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) assessments and oversee monthly inventory counts across key operational areas like inventory and warehouse management, procurement, order to cash, and logistics operations.
Previously, as an Accountant in the Accounting Advisory Unit at KPMG, I managed bookkeeping and accounting services for eight clients across trading, services, and non-profit organizations—handling accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, PP&E registers, intercompany reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
