Cynthia Wong

I am a UX Designer energized by empathy and collaboration. I am also passionate about crafting meaningful and delightful user experiences. I tackle problems with a curious mind and thrive in environments that foster teamwork and collaboration, but I also excel in working independently. With 3+ years of experience in web design, I have successfully worked as an independent contractor and a salaried employee in several industries including e-commerce, hospitality, and early-stage startups.

Most recently, I worked as the only UX/UI designer for Express Corporate Housing, a company based in Texas focused on providing a platform that allows people to book corporate housing and long-terms stays. As the UX designer, I frequently collaborated with the product owner to define features and design requirements. I also worked with the development to assess the feasibility of such features and designs. My favorite project was to create a admin portal from scratch – it really challenged me as a designer while also allowing me to get creative with it.

Prior to that, I worked as an independent contractor for various clients. I worked closely with various clients to help ideate their vision while creating mockups and prototype for them. Over the course of 1.5 years, I have successfully helped build mockups for over 20 websites.
