Licensed psychologist specializing in children and adolescents' mental health.
What I'm looking for
I am a licensed psychologist with over two decades of experience in providing psychological services to children and adolescents. My journey began with a Ph.D. in Psychology from Louisiana State University, where I focused on developing prescriptive alternatives to suspension and expulsion. Throughout my career, I have held various roles, including Director of Programs at the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center and running my private practice. My work has always been driven by a passion for improving the mental health and well-being of young individuals.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have contributed to the field through teaching as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix and serving as a licensed clinical supervisor. I have also founded non-profit organizations aimed at supporting youth in transition and rehabilitating ex-racehorses. My commitment to advocacy is evident in my involvement with legislative activities that promote the interests of school psychologists and improve mental health services for youth.
