Cristian De La Pena

I founded the London Academy of Arts in 2009, building its teaching direction around rigorous academic fundamentals and progressive skill development.

My work draws on American and French 19th-century atelier traditions, with a focus on observation, proportion, value, form, composition, perspective, color, drawing, and painting.

I develop structured syllabi, teach and critique hands-on, mentor students, direct teachers, and deliver teacher-training courses while maintaining strong artistic and instructional standards.

Since 1998, I’ve maintained an international fine-arts practice across academic realism, figurative art, tattooing, art direction, consulting, and curation, supported by leadership, marketing, business development, and digital strategy experience.
