Details of roles and projects

• Currently, I serve mainly as an AI tutor. This is my favourite role, engaging in diverse projects that challenge my creativity and analytical skills. My background in languages and creative talents allow me to deliver quick, effective, creative and high-quality work.

• I enjoy subtitling assignments as this is more creative work than regular translations, particularly in culturally rich and often high-risk content such as documentaries and series from around the world. I take pride in delivering high-quality subtitles for major Netflix and Disney features - with my name in the credits!

• Having accumulated over 24 years of experience in translation, translations are now a minor part of my work due to the decline of this sector. Recently I translate mainly Dutch into English for Powerling (mostly formal business documentation) and English into Dutch for Amazon Global (training materials for staff). In the past, I translated a wide range of business documents, ICT, and healthcare. I was the lead translator for my combination in 5 of the agencies I worked with.
