I analyze costs and variances across materials, labor, overhead, and production processes, and identify opportunities to reduce expenses. I also manage product line costing, variable charge costing, and expense allocations for profitability reporting.
I lead monthly costing processes and prepare financial and cost reports for leadership. My work includes make-vs-buy evaluations and cost-benefit assessments that support planning and resource allocation.
Previously, at American National Insurance, I assisted with board reports and created management reporting and presentations. I also collected monthly sales reports and created ad hoc reports using Excel and BPC.
