Connor Girouard

I am an aspiring mechanical engineer majoring in mechanical engineering with practical experience across maintenance, operations, and customer-facing roles. I have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, performing oil changes, cleaning tanks, working with pumps, motors, plumbing, and electrical systems.

I bring strong CAD and fabrication skills including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion360, Revit, CNC programming, and 3D printing, paired with real-world problem solving developed during a co-op at a pollution control district. I progressed quickly in customer-focused roles, trained new employees, and implemented efficiency strategies still used at my workplace.

I am motivated to work on vehicle systems—military vehicles, cars, trains, or bikes—and I combine technical aptitude, teamwork, and a disciplined work ethic from both engineering training and hands-on maintenance work.
