At BBC World Service, I produce and edit live news bulletins for a diverse global audience, often drawing on my knowledge of China and APAC. I’ve rapidly updated coverage of major developments, including Xi Jinping’s meetings with Putin and Kim and Sanae Takaichi’s election victory in Japan.
I also take on senior editorial responsibilities, including acting up as CDE and producing Topline, where I decide which international stories and angles lead. As Global Affairs Reporter, I research developments and deliver live two-ways, voice pieces and dispatches for Newsroom.
Across Bloomberg, The Guardian, LBC News and Studio Ochenta, I’ve produced live TV and radio coverage, podcasts and multilingual audio series. For Euronews, I was lead senior producer of the WAN-IFRA award-winning documentary podcast Cry Like a Boy, and I’ve mentored print journalists moving into audio storytelling.
