I represent States and research international air and space law.
What I'm looking for
I'm an Air & Space Law LL.M. (Thesis)–Ph.D. track researcher at McGill University’s Institute of Air and Space Law, focused on public international air law, State obligations, and international aviation governance.
At Foley Hoag, I represented sovereign States in complex public international law disputes before international courts and tribunals, including territorial and maritime sovereignty, international conventions, and law-of-the-sea matters. I researched multilingual government records and diplomatic correspondence, drafted briefs and litigation materials, and helped develop persuasive State legal positions.
At ICSID, World Bank, I analyzed investor-State disputes, drafted Spanish-language case analyses incorporated into arbitral decisions, reviewed tribunal decisions, and assessed treaty-based jurisdiction. My current research examines State obligations following international aviation disasters, including overflight, air navigation, air traffic services, and international responsibility for loss of life or transboundary harm.
