CHRIS WOLFF
@chriswolff
Senior full-stack software engineer building React/TypeScript products—from real-time 3D to editorial platforms.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer focused on building reliable, user-focused products with a strong engineering backbone. I specialize in shipping end-to-end features across React/TypeScript frontends, GraphQL backends, and performance-minded architecture.
Most recently, I built UI and functionality for a white-label 3D room planner platform deployed across kitchen, bath, and decking using Babylon.js. I also led a Web Worker logging system—architecting a non-blocking, console-intercepting logger that batches off the main thread and flushes to a backend API without forcing product-level refactors.
Across large publishing platforms like Apartment Therapy and The Kitchn, I built full-stack publishing infrastructure serving millions of readers. I partnered on accessibility through a WCAG AA initiative (audit + remediation), and drove performance optimization by establishing component-level standards.
Earlier, I helped found and grow The Noun Project’s platform from scratch, owning frontend architecture and leading a React migration. I’ve also built decision-support and internal tooling (GraphQL layers, Node.js/Express services, Python APIs, and caching at scale) while supporting technical writing and portfolio work.
