At BET Software, I own the availability, performance, and security of production databases averaging over 1 million transactions per minute. I cut query run times by 60–80% through execution plan analysis, targeted indexing, and query rewrites.

I administer Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL on Amazon Aurora, and MySQL across AWS RDS, Red Hat OpenShift, and on-premises environments. I also designed backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies and built replication and synchronization processes.

At Openfactor Technology Group, I led and mentored a team of database administrators and designed secure, high-performance database architectures. I administered Oracle and MySQL databases hosted on Google Cloud.

My work has also included developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages for Britam Insurance’s INSIS core insurance platform, as well as earlier software engineering and development roles at FASYL Technology Group. I’m based in Zambia and open to fully remote roles worldwide.
