Chardanay Burgess

I am a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in both acute care and long-term care environments. My commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care has allowed me to support nursing staff effectively while ensuring the safety, comfort, and dignity of my patients. I am currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Nursing at Kingsborough Community College, with an expected graduation in June 2026.

In my role at Ditmas Children’s Rehabilitation, I deliver compassionate care across various units, assisting patients with daily activities and collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care. I have been recognized for my adaptability and reliability, often being selected to care for high-acuity patients due to my clinical competence. I also take pride in mentoring new CNAs, helping them acclimate to our fast-paced environment.

As I look to grow into a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Senior Nursing Assistant role, I aim to expand my clinical capabilities and contribute more deeply to team success and patient outcomes. My experience as a Recruiting Assistant has further honed my organizational skills and ability to enhance the candidate experience, which I believe will be beneficial in my future roles.
