Dedicated Biomedical Science graduate eager to contribute to healthcare innovation.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated and detail-oriented BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science graduate from BMS, currently seeking an entry-level position in a laboratory or biomedical research setting. My academic journey has equipped me with strong laboratory skills and a solid foundation in scientific principles, which I am eager to apply in a professional environment.
During my studies, I have engaged in various internships and research projects, including a recent internship at Genelabs in Colombo, where I gained hands-on experience in molecular diagnostic techniques. I successfully assisted in sample preparation and data recording, while also observing PCR and ELISA procedures in a clinical setting. My research work, particularly in detecting Leptospira DNA and isolating thermostable enzymes from wastewater, has honed my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of laboratory practices.
As I embark on my professional journey, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to scientific innovation and healthcare advancement. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, and I look forward to being part of a team that values collaboration and excellence in research.
