Chandrakanth Nayak

I’m an MBA Finance student with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, and I’m deeply interested in finance and business advisory. I bring practical exposure to how financial statements are built, checked, and used for decision-making, along with a strong focus on compliance.

Through my internship at a Chartered Accountant firm, I recorded daily client receipts and payments to ensure accurate bookkeeping and proper maintenance of financial records. I entered bank statements and managed accounting entries in Tally, performing regular bank reconciliations. I also prepared and filed GSTR-7 and TDS Form 26Q returns on time, and supported statutory audit work by verifying invoices, expense vouchers, and supporting documents. Additionally, I participated in a Bank of Baroda branch audit by checking gold loan files and related loan documents for accuracy and completeness.

On the academic side, my project “Financial Soundness & Risk Analysis” for Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. strengthened my analytical toolkit. I analysed financial statements (2023–2025) using ratio analysis to assess liquidity, profitability, solvency, and efficiency, and I performed trend analysis to interpret financial performance using Excel charts and ratios.

I’ve also completed certifications in equity research and investment fundamentals, including NISM Series XV – Research Analyst and SEBI Investor Certification, which reinforced my understanding of financial statement analysis and risk management. I’m now seeking an entry-level opportunity where I can apply my knowledge, develop my skills, and grow in finance, consulting, or advisory roles—while staying rigorous, communicative, and compliance-minded.
