Carter Janiga
@carterjaniga
I’m a Certificated Flight Instructor developing safe, confident pilots through weather expertise, judgment, and disciplined instruction.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Certificated Flight Instructor with commercial and instrument ratings and 245 total flight hours. I bring strong skills in weather analysis, aeronautical decision-making, and risk management to every lesson and every flight.
My training and experience include Cessna 172 and Piper Arrow aircraft, with 135 PIC hours and an Instrument Rating. I focus on clear instruction that builds aeronautical judgment, checklist discipline, and situational awareness so my students make better decisions in real-world conditions.
I’ve earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aviation (Cum Laude) from Louisiana Tech University, and I’m committed to helping students develop the habits that keep operations safe and consistent. I also actively progress with AGI and IGI as part of continuing growth in flight instruction.
Outside of the cockpit, I’ve worked as a Talent Acquisition Screener and Corporate Office Receptionist, strengthening my communication, confidentiality, and process discipline. As a Project Team Leader for Young Eagles, I also contributed to aircraft assembly and repair work—operating power tools, using gauges, and supporting flight control surface installation, rigging, and repairs.
