Carlos Palacio
@carlospalacio
Product Designer specializing in motion systems and interaction design for clear, confident digital experiences.
What I'm looking for
I specialize in motion systems and interaction design—defining how products behave and using motion as a functional layer that improves clarity, usability, confidence, and trust. Over the last decade across Google, Meta, and Coinbase, I’ve designed interaction behaviors and onboarding experiences that help people understand and navigate complex digital products.
I enjoy partnering with product, research, and engineering teams to transform ambiguous ideas into intuitive, scalable experiences. At Meta, I led the Motion chapter for Facebook Blueprint and saw adoption grow from approximately 30% to 80% across product teams; at Coinbase, I designed UX motion across onboarding, navigation, and financial transactions and built reusable motion patterns, components, and production-ready Rive animations; earlier at Google, I delivered North Star prototypes and a motion guidelines site used by multiple teams.
