At Free To Grow CFO, I lead a team responsible for month-end close, controller review, and reporting for five e-commerce and distribution brands. I work directly with founders and CFOs, and I report close progress and ETAs daily.
I rebuilt more than two years of Shopify revenue history, resolving a material AR overstatement of about $400K. I also wrote a Monthly Close Work Plan that firm leadership incorporated into a wider close-improvement initiative.
Before that, at Venture CPA & Tax Advisors, I owned close and reporting for more than 20 U.S. clients across 12+ industries. I learned QuickBooks Online and earned ProAdvisor Level 2 while carrying more than 25 entities.
Across my career, I’ve worked with U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and ERP implementations. At Beachmold Mexico, I built the accounting function, controls, and JD Edwards ERP from zero; I also built an internal audit department from scratch at Centro de Especialidades Médicas del Sureste.
