I'm a Backend Developer based in Istanbul with 4+ years of hands-on experience building scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems with C# and .NET 6+.

Over the past 3+ years at Orfetek Teknoloji, I've shipped three production systems end-to-end: Astopia (an astrology and personalization platform), İyiYaşa (a microservices-based health and wellness platform), and Orphex (a digital marketing analytics automation tool). Along the way I've worked deeply with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Saga and Outbox patterns, Clean Architecture, CQRS, and the kind of refactoring work that turns legacy codebases into something a team can iterate on without fear.

My core stack: C#, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS, and observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Sentry.

What I'm looking for: a fully remote European role (or hybrid in Istanbul) where engineering quality matters, where I can own backend systems end-to-end, and where the team genuinely cares about clean code, testability, and long-term maintainability. I'm comfortable working async, take feedback seriously, and care about the boring-but-important things — CI pipelines, code reviews, observability — as much as the shiny ones.
