What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can design and deliver end-to-end systems—especially full-stack/API work—partnering with stakeholders, mentoring others, and improving integrations and reporting for impactful government or enterprise programs.

I’m a multi-faceted software developer with core expertise in Python and TypeScript, and broad experience across Java, C#, and C++. I specialize in full-stack development with Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript, delivering end-to-end government and enterprise systems. I combine sharp analytical problem-solving with clear communication and cross-team collaboration.

Currently as a Program Officer (Software Development and IT) with the Office of the President, I lead software development and IT initiatives for the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP). I design, build, and maintain internal systems and tools to track program activities, monitor budgets, and compile stakeholder reports. I also run systems analysis and requirements elicitation with program officers and field teams, then guide IT staff and coordinate vendors to deliver integrated solutions.

Through independent consultancy and earlier roles at IntraHealth International and Kampala Capital City Authority, I’ve built and supported backend systems, REST APIs, and operational modules—ranging from ERP and point-of-sale integration with URA’s EFRIS to incident/case management and domain-specific systems for healthcare and examinations. I’m also pursuing an MSc in Computer Science at the University of York, strengthening my ability to apply data analysis and ML fundamentals in real-world systems.
