Promoted to lead an organization of four direct reports and a total organization of twenty-eight to manage the complete outsourced model, managing customer order fulfillment direct from contract manufacturing partners, new product introduction, quality, demand planning, materials/inventory management, shipping and logistics.

Managing a team of two quality engineers and one commodity manager, centrally responsible for validating the manufacturability of all new designs at our contract manufacturers, driving high quality production and serving as primary technical point of contact for the entire supply chain.

Enhanced corporate strategic supply chain and tactical procurement to drive improvements in project support, new product development, and indirect spend. Increased savings by 14% in outsourced engineering and decreased project construction costs by 20%.

Managed sourcing activities for capital and services, including generators, UPS, chilled water, and water treatment, to support meeting customer project demands and new product development. Negotiated preferred supplier contracts to achieve 20% savings and led a value engineering review of the water treatment system, resulting in 10% savings.

Managed worldwide Key Commodity strategy and supplier performance, directing a worldwide team of commodity managers based in the US and Asia. Developed and negotiated contracts to outsource global manufacturing operations, reducing operating expenses and inventory costs, resulting in a gross margin improvement of 4%.
