What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver compassionate primary/urgent care—especially for diverse and underserved patients—while leveraging Epic, evidence-based diagnostics, and strong patient education. I also enjoy leadership and improving clinical quality.

I’m a Family Nurse Practitioner providing care in a New Mexico Rural Health Same Day Illness Clinic for patients 6 months and up. I conduct physical examinations, order and interpret lab testing, and prescribe treatments or medications to address diverse conditions—always grounded in patient education and sustainable wellness habits.

Before becoming an FNP, I built broad clinical depth as a Registered Nurse across multiple settings, including mental health crisis care and long-term care leadership. I’m experienced with thorough charting, documentation, and record maintenance to protect accuracy and patient confidentiality.

In my current role, I develop working diagnoses and treatment plans by scrutinizing lab data on new and former clinic patients and hospital admissions, with direct review by a physician. I also prioritize standards-based care, disease management, preventive care, and counseling—especially around STD care—while using Epic in daily workflows.

My background also includes intensive cardiac ICU nursing, including advanced assessment skills, cardiac monitoring, ventilator care, and post-procedure care. With a history of leadership (Charge Nurse and Chief Nursing Officer), I bring both clinical confidence and accountability to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
