Boran Hamdi Sivrikaya

I am an AI and computer vision engineer with a strong academic foundation from the Technical University of Munich and hands-on experience in robotics and radar-based perception. I develop deep learning models and systems for real-time, privacy-preserving facial authentication and out-of-distribution detection.

My research and projects include multiple accepted conference papers (ICIP 2024, ICMLA 2024, ICASSP 2025) that demonstrate novel architectures—such as CNNs with autoencoders and triplet loss schemes—and practical implementations using short-range FMCW radar.

I have applied my skills in industry and academic settings, working as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer and as a student assistant where I built simulation environments with ROS and Gazebo for robot vision tasks. I focus on end-to-end system development, from data collection with 60 GHz radar to real-time inference.

I bring strong programming skills in C, C++ and Python, expertise with PyTorch and OpenCV, and experience with robotics middleware. I seek opportunities where I can drive applied research into deployable perception systems that respect privacy and operate in real time.
