What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an engineering role where I can install, test, and support electromechanical and power systems, document work clearly, and collaborate with teams and manufacturers—while growing my technical troubleshooting and on-site delivery skills.

I’m an Electromechanical Engineer with hands-on experience installing and commissioning electromechanical systems, including solar panels, generators, and street lighting works. Since February 2022, I’ve also provided technical support during installation, start-up, and testing of electrical machines.

I’m careful about execution and accountable for progress, since I handle documentation of all stages of work and communicate with overseas manufacturers to support delivery and coordination. I enjoy being the practical link between the site team and technical requirements.

Before my current role, I worked on satellite dish installation and connectivity-related transformation initiatives under the Tigray Regional Health Bureau, including satellite and solar power installation in two woredas. I also have networking experience from an internship at Ethiopian Telecommunication, where I supported WCDMA optimization and contributed to network coverage and quality optimization.

I bring a strong engineering foundation from a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, plus engineering and communication skills like technical troubleshooting and data analysis. Beyond engineering, I’ve done Amharic and Tigrigna transcription and translation, and I hold Coursera certifications in Google Ads, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
