What I'm looking for

I want to build scalable backend systems in a fast, engineering-focused team—working on distributed architectures, performance-sensitive pipelines, and applied AI like RAG. I’m excited by ownership, measurable results, and shipping reliable features end-to-end.

I’m a software engineer intern who loves turning complex problems into reliable systems—whether that’s speeding up data exchange with production-ready APIs or building fault-tolerant schedulers that recover gracefully. I’m especially drawn to performance-critical work and clean engineering that holds up under real-world load.

In my SDE Intern role, I built RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express to streamline backend data exchange, and I created 12+ reusable React components that improved platform responsiveness. I also delivered end-to-end system integrations in a fast-paced Agile environment, where I learned to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

On the blockchain side, I developed and deployed smart contracts using Rust on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) with dfx, and built backend logic for DApps in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment. I worked directly with canisters, ICP identity, and secure data storage models—so I’m comfortable thinking about correctness and security as first-class concerns.

Beyond internships, my projects reflect my focus on measurable impact: a low-latency telemetry engine achieving sub-microsecond write latency (P99) and 2 million logs/second, and a distributed job scheduler using Spring Boot, Quartz, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka for persistent, scalable execution. I also built a RAG pipeline with hybrid retrieval (dense + sparse), FAISS, and reranking that reduced retrieval failure rate from 33% to 0% on a custom benchmark—plus I’ve earned recognition through hackathons, a LeetCode Knight Badge, and selection of my World Computer Hacker League project “CipherNest.”
