Billel SLIMANI

I'm an Industrial Engineer from Annaba, Algeria, currently working as Technical Leader Engineer at SARL Raylan in partnership with LG Electronics, where I lead technical operations for CKD (completely knocked down) home-appliance production lines. My work sits at the intersection of mechanical design and manufacturing: I use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to model and reverse-engineer parts, tooling, and factory equipment, produce 2D technical drawings and layouts, and review designs for fit, function, and manufacturability before they reach production.

Before this role, I worked as a Maintenance Engineer on the same production lines, where I applied root cause analysis and preventive/corrective maintenance strategies to raise equipment availability to 97% and improve line reliability. I hold an Engineer's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's in Industrial Management from ENSTI Annaba, with coursework in reverse engineering, CAD design, and 3D printing.

I'm particularly drawn to roles that combine hands-on CAD/design work with process optimization — turning physical parts and production problems into accurate models and practical engineering solutions. I'm looking to bring this CKD manufacturing and mechanical design experience to international teams, ideally in design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial project roles.
