What I'm looking for

I seek an entry-level accounting role where I can learn from senior accountants, apply IPSAS/IAS knowledge, grow professionally, and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

I am an entry-level financial accountant with practical internship experience in public sector finance and current retail cashier responsibilities.

During my attachment at a rural district council I prepared balance sheet accounts, posted monthly journal entries, performed bank reconciliations, and prepared quarterly financial statements in compliance with IPSAS and IAS.

I also prepare monthly management accounts, manage accounts for investment properties and council projects, and ensure timely statutory payments for taxes and contributions.

I am organized, punctual, ethically professional, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage/Sage Evolution/Pastel, and eager to grow under senior accountants while pursuing professional certification with ICAZ.
