At Box, I architect and implement safety-critical perception software for autonomous robots working alongside people in warehouses. The camera and LiDAR system achieved 99.97% detection reliability across 2M+ operational hours.
I develop real-time software on Linux and QNX using C++, Rust, DDS, and ROS 2, with deterministic perception processing under 10ms. My work includes safety monitors and compliance with ISO 13849 and IEC 61508.
At Salesforce, I developed embedded safety monitoring and perception integration for autonomous industrial platforms. I implemented watchdogs and fail-safe mechanisms, and worked on ROS 2 sensor integration processing 1.2TB of data daily.
Earlier, at Philips and IBM, I developed embedded perception and functional safety software for medical, industrial, and robotics systems. I’ve also performed board bringup, built testing and CI/CD frameworks, and mentored engineers on safety-critical coding standards.
