What I'm looking for

I’m seeking an audit role where I can use Excel-based audit workpapers, strengthen compliance and internal controls, and grow into higher-responsibility assurance work while applying finance and investment analysis thinking.

I’m a Finance bachelor’s graduate-in-progress (University of Ilorin) with a “Second class upper division (4.03/5.00)” and ICAN Badged Associate Accounting Technician (AAT) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA). I build my work on strong foundations in “Financial accounting,” “statistics,” and “performance management,” and I bring a disciplined, detail-first approach to every task.

In my SIWES role at Kemsan Global Acres Limited as a “Finance assistant,” I managed “budgeting, cash flow analysis, cost accounting, and accounts reconciliation.” I helped achieve “a 15% cost reduction” and improved operational efficiency, and I collaborated with the internal auditor on compliance reviews—“resolving 95% of financial discrepancies and mitigating risks” for projects and expansion plans.

Now, as an “Audit trainee” at Aloba, Awomolo & Partners, I support audit tasks “in line with agreed procedures,” preparing “clear, accurate and organized audit work paper (often in excel)” to document evidence and conclusions. I verify “bank balances,” check invoices, review transactions for accuracy, and assist in gathering and analyzing data and processes to identify potential risk, guided by due diligence and “professional skepticism.”
