I’m an experienced Field Engineer with 5 years working on Govt. of India & World Bank funded project NERPSIP (North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project). In a dynamic environment, I developed strong technical knowledge, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to keep on-site execution aligned with quality and safety requirements.

From 04/2018 to 04/2023 at POWERGRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED, Guwahati, I coordinated with contractor site engineers to implement installation, testing & commissioning of GIS (Gas insulated switchgear) and supervised AIS (Air insulated switchgear) bay extension work. I oversaw switchyard civil foundation building works, electrical equipment installation, and commissioning as per technical drawings and specifications.

I also supervised critical electrical and systems integrations—SCADA integration with SAS panel, transformer installation and commissioning (50MVA and 10MVA), control room ELV systems (LAN, telephonic, illumination, earthing), and relay panel testing document reviews. I ensured monitored installation and commissioning of firefighting & alarm systems, and checked battery/UPS sets with solar panels, ACDB & DCDB panels.

Beyond technical supervision, I managed documentation and site readiness: I maintained bill documents and quarterly electrical equipment reports, checked equipment arrival on store for payment, and pre-planned execution with contractors so materials and documents were available. I coordinated with World Bank team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and labour law, while minimizing environmental impact.
