What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a healthcare assistant role where I can deliver compassionate direct care for disabled and elderly patients, maintain safety and safeguarding, and support independence through hygiene, meals, mobility, transfers, and wellbeing monitoring.

I’m a compassionate and resourceful healthcare assistant with 7+ years of experience supporting disabled and elderly patients. I’m passionate about improving patient well-being and independence through attentive, safe, and organised direct care.

In my roles at 7 Hills Medical Centre Ltd and Balibawo Nursing Home, I provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and assisting with mobility and walking exercises. I prepare and serve meals, maintain personal hygiene, support grooming (hair and nail trimming), manage laundry care, keep ward rooms clean and organised, and carry out post-operation care.

I also support patient safety by maintaining close checks on wellbeing, recording and reporting changes, helping patients take medications as prescribed, and performing inter-ward patient transfers and wheelchair transfers. I achieved 100% compliance with safeguarding reporting, and I’m trained in FirstAid and CPR, Adult Basic Life Support, infection prevention and control, and safeguarding adults.
