At JT. Ogunniyi & Co., I prepare originating processes and court documents, conduct legal research and review case law, and draft correspondence and replies to legal letters.
I also draft property and family settlement agreements and review contracts. I support lawyers in corporate and dispute resolution matters.
During my internship at JT. Ogunniyi & Co., I assisted with drafting motions, affidavits, written addresses, charges, and statements of defence or claims under supervision. I also prepared client correspondence and attended a lease negotiation, an alternative dispute resolution session, and a client meeting.
My experience includes observing proceedings at High Court 1, Ota, and volunteering as a legal aid clinic volunteer and pro bono caseworker. I hold a Bachelor of Laws from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a B. L. from Nigerian Law School, Enugu Campus.
