What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead infrastructure, capital-project, investment or business-development mandates where I can take projects from strategy and feasibility through financing, contracting and delivery, working with public- and private-sector stakeholders.

I've led capital projects, infrastructure advisory and national development programmes across Kazakhstan and Central Asia for more than 28 years. My work spans concept development, master planning, bankable feasibility, financing, EPC/PMC contracting and construction.

Most recently, I structured IGS Caspian’s Kazakhstan–US joint venture, won its first KPO tender, secured an NCOC turnaround-services contract, and built a KZT 5 bn commercial pipeline. I hold executive and P&L responsibility while leading commercial negotiations and contract drafting in Russian and English.

Previously, I built a US$1 bn tourism development portfolio at Samruk-Kazyna Real Estate Fund, managed contracts and project controls for a US$1.9 bn petrochemical project, and directed a US$450 m university-campus infrastructure programme for KazMunayGas. I also founded an arable farming business from a 2,200-hectare fallow holding and exited through a trade sale.

Appointed at incorporation to lead a Kazakhstan–US joint venture providing asset integrity and industrial services to oil and gas operators. Structured the JV, won initial contracts worth KZT 2 bn, and built a qualified pipeline of approximately KZT 5 bn.
