I’m an accountant with experience across financial reporting, tax compliance, statutory filings, and reconciliation work. I’ve consistently focused on maintaining confidentiality, meeting deadlines, and supporting management with clear financial insights.

At AZELIS NIGERIA SPECIALTY CHEMICALS LTD (2021–Current), I prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) and ensure compliance with tax laws, including tax return preparation and submission. I also prepare statutory reports such as annual returns and other regulatory filings, and provide financial planning and advisory support to management and stakeholders.

I manage key accounting processes end to end, including supervision of accounts payable and receivable (invoicing, payments, and credit control), maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, and reconciling bank and other financial accounts. I liaise with external auditors by providing necessary information and support, and I evaluate internal controls while recommending improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Earlier, as an Accountant at MEGASEA INDUSTRIES LIMITED (2016–2021), I supported working capital improvements and reduced days outstanding by coordinating with Logistics and Sales. I also handled monthly bank reconciliations, tax return preparation, and bookkeeping controls, and in earlier roles—including Business Development Officer and Audit Tax Intern—I strengthened my customer and stakeholder communication and expanded my understanding of transactions and accounting software.
