Avinash Kaja

I’m an early-career QA automation engineer and Java developer building dependable test automation and REST APIs. I’m currently pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, and my work is centered on converting real workflows into repeatable, regression-ready automation.

In my Shine Job Portal Automation project, I automated login, job search, and job application flows for a real-world platform using Selenium WebDriver with Java. I validated search results against predefined job criteria (role, location, experience) and built robust scripts for form validations, navigation flows, and confirmation messages using XPath, ID locators, and JavaScriptExecutor for dynamic web elements.

I also develop backend services alongside testing. In Task-Vault, a multi-user management system, I implemented secure authentication and authorization for registration, login, and protected access, and validated API endpoints with Postman to ensure service-layer correctness. I designed a clean domain model for reliable task creation, retrieval, and deletion using Spring Boot and MySQL, while ensuring data isolation per user.

Across projects and training (including my Java Full Stack work at CipherSchools), I’ve strengthened my ability to combine backend integration with quality practices. I test using unit, integration, and system testing approaches, and I’m comfortable working with tools like Postman, JUnit, Jira, TestRail, Katalon Studio, Appium, and Playwright—always aiming for clear, maintainable automation that teams can trust.
