At Taifa Mobile, I build and run telecom services that replace manual customer journeys and reliably process payments and disbursements. I led the PataSkiza Laravel acquisition service for 50,000 subscribers across Kenya, integrating Safaricom's Consent Gateway, Redis queues, and immediate SMS acknowledgment.
I own a Golang airtime purchasing service for USSD and PayBill journeys, using RabbitMQ to decouple payment confirmation from disbursement and reconcile duplicate or out-of-order Daraja callbacks. I also built an automated data-bundle disbursement system with Safaricom APIs, Laravel queues, and a MySQL audit ledger.
Beyond production services, I build developer-facing projects including a cross-platform Spotify CLI in Golang and a typed GraphQL wrapper for the Fantasy Premier League API. I automate tested, zero-downtime deployments with GitHub Actions and use Sentry and Grafana to improve reliability.
