At Tata Consultancy Services, I work in ABN AMRO Bank’s Detecting Financial Crime domain, where I engineered 40+ AML behavioral features with Data Scientists. These produce model-ready datasets for downstream ML models and business analysts.
I built feature engineering pipelines on Azure Databricks with PySpark window functions, rolling aggregations, and time-series transformations. I also converted AML typologies and business requirements into reusable transformation components for model training and scoring.
For data ingestion, I built parameterized Azure Data Factory pipelines with trigger-based orchestration across a Lakehouse architecture, cutting manual compliance effort by about 80%. I also engineered a metadata-driven PySpark data quality framework and implemented SCD Type-2 tracking on Delta Lake.
I developed modular PySpark components to encode AML regulatory rules and tuned Spark performance, achieving about 35% faster pipeline execution. I delivered governed Gold-layer datasets for screening and reporting, with Unity Catalog access controls and GDPR-aligned governance.
