Atabong Emmanuel Ngimyo

I’m currently pursuing a Professional Masters in Local Government Administration, with my project topic focused on “Local Councils and Entrepreneurship Development.” I’m driven by the idea that strong local governance can create real opportunities for communities and emerging entrepreneurs.

My academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s Degree in “Law and Political Science,” which strengthened how I think about institutions, policy, and governance. Through this background, I aim to connect legal and political understanding to practical local development work.

I also build hands-on experience through volunteer work with Survivors’ Network Cameroon—Kumba, including participation in UNHCR training seminars on protection of internally displaced people, especially young girls and women, affected by the crisis. I supported safe space and safe house activities, including participation in the catering of the safe house for internally displaced girls.

I contributed to community support efforts such as participating in the distribution of Covid 19 kits (nose masks and hand sanitizers) to schools within Kumba. I bring organized, practical support skills and a service-first mindset, reinforced by technical comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
