What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a lab role where I can perform cytogenetics and molecular testing, supervise accurate reporting and records, and maintain strong sample handling and documentation quality—while continuing to grow my expertise with Cytovision and related laboratory workflows.

I’m a laboratory-focused cytogeneticist and microbiologist who brings strong handling of laboratory records, documentation, and sample/report workflows. I’m detail-oriented with lab inventory, record maintenance, and a customer-service mindset that helps keep processes smooth.

In my microbiology experience, I prepare laboratory equipment for testing and perform chemical tests such as pH, conductivity, TDS, and chlorine. I also run microbiological tests (E coli, TBC, yeast, and mold), prepare media and solutions, and compile report data while keeping equipment clean and maintained.

During genetic lab training, I independently reported 96 blood karyotyping cases. I performed culturing, harvesting, and banding of chromosomes from peripheral blood, amniotic fluid, and chorionic villus samples, and supported PCR-based detection of Y chromosome microdeletion. I worked with Cytovision 7.4 and Applied Spectral Imaging, and contributed to FISH support, alongside DNA isolation from blood, amniotic fluid, and Chorionic villus samples.

As an Executive Cytogeneticist, I continue building expertise in culturing, harvesting, and banding, strengthen sample registration practices, and ensure careful sample pelleting and handling. I also apply molecular techniques (DNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, SDS page, chromatographic technique) and tissue culture techniques, backed by HACCP and Food Safety Management systems training.
