What I'm looking for
I am a registered nurse with over nine years of direct patient care experience in labor and delivery and five years of prior OB/GYN office experience. I hold a BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing and active licensure in IL, IN, and Compact.
In my current role I serve as a Staff Nurse in Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby and as a charge nurse who manages assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients. I am experienced in high-pressure settings including a 4-bed Obstetrical Emergency Room and routinely communicate with specialties such as MFM, Endocrinology, and Neonatology.
I regularly precept and support newly graduated and newly hired nurses, and I advocate for patients to ensure they receive optimal, evidence-based care from triage through recovery and postpartum discharge. I have completed Advanced and Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring courses and hold current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E certifications.
I am seeking opportunities to continue working in women's health where I can apply my clinical skills, teaching experience, and dedication to compassionate patient advocacy, including roles that enable remote or telehealth contributions to care delivery.
