At PayPal, I led the architecture and delivery of a Kafka- and Juno-based contact-sync flow that made newly synced contacts searchable within 2 seconds. I also mentored three engineers through implementation and production rollout.
I built the create, update, and close lifecycle for PayPal Pools using Java, GraphQL, and microservices. I designed idempotent payment flows and distributed locking to prevent duplicate transactions and enforce contribution limits.
At PayPal, I migrated 20+ REST APIs to a partitioned data architecture using dual writes and feature-flagged rollout controls. Earlier, at HCL Software and Amdocs, I built Java backend APIs for InformixHQ and enterprise billing platforms.
