At Universidad de Talca, I teach classroom and laboratory courses in Cellular Physiology and Plant Physiology. I design assessments, including analytical rubrics with qualitative feedback, and support students in experimental design and laboratory techniques.
My doctoral research examines plant-insect interactions under water deficit and the effects of plant-growth-promoting microorganisms. I record and analyze aphid feeding behavior using electropenetrography (EPG).
I design factorial experiments and analyze biological data in R, using GLM, GLMM, and AIC-based model selection. I also develop Python tools for EPG analysis and train students in experimental and laboratory techniques.
At Universidad de Moa (ISMM), I taught undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional training in environmental sciences and biotechnology. I directed the Center for Environmental Studies and the Institutional Observatory of Environment and Occupational Safety, and participated in projects involving bioremediation, coastal management, and cleaner production.
