Arwa Zaman

I am a dedicated and passionate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Pre-Health track at the University of Virginia, where I maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.90. My academic journey has been complemented by hands-on experience in social media management and community outreach, particularly in STEM education. As a Social Media Manager at Streamwise, I created engaging STEM events that sparked interest among K–12 students, while also serving as a judge at a national robotics competition. My leadership skills were further honed as I managed a team of volunteers, ensuring the success of our initiatives.

In addition to my role at Streamwise, I have actively contributed to various research projects, including an independent study on the medicinal uses of South Asian botanicals in skincare. This project not only earned me an A+ but also deepened my understanding of cultural implications in health. My commitment to community service is evident through my work with the American Red Cross and my initiative, Henna Health, which focuses on South Asian women's health. Through these experiences, I have developed strong project coordination and digital marketing skills, which I aim to leverage in my future career in health.
