What I'm looking for

A remote full-stack or backend role on a product team using Ruby on Rails. I'd like to own features end to end, write tested code, and work with people who value clear communication and code reviews. Open to async teams across time zones; I'm based in Brazil (UTC-3).

I'm a full-stack Ruby on Rails engineer with 4+ years building and shipping SaaS products remotely, from first commit to production.

Recent work:

- Medical clinic platform (allergy specialty): prescription management, automated reports and receipts, digital signatures for medical documents. Rails, React, Hotwire, AWS S3, Docker.

- Airfield management SaaS: multi-tenant authorization with Pundit, banking webhooks for billing, redesigned order and subscription flows, web scrapers, GoodJob background jobs, Twilio notifications, Heroku deploys and mobile app releases.

- Minha Saude Web: mental health marketplace matching patients with psychologists through WhatsApp Business API automation. Rails 8, Solid Queue, Hotwire, Tailwind.

- WebGameOn: gamified education platform built with TDD (RSpec), PostgreSQL, Stimulus and Docker.

- Multi-store e-commerce SaaS on Solidus, and Luminasis, a therapy-tracking platform for ABA psychologists.

Before software, I spent 8 years as an electronic engineer in the Brazilian Air Force, leading teams that ran rocket launch control, tracking radar and safety systems at the Alcantara Launch Center. I'm also a PhD candidate in Electronic and Computer Engineering at ITA, researching data fusion and AI for threat assessment.

I care about clean, tested code, clear communication and owning features end to end. Looking for remote full-stack or backend Rails roles.
