Arghya Roy

I am a technologist specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Natural Language Processing, with hands-on experience designing and optimizing systems, cloud environments, and networking for research-driven projects. I developed a generative BERT-based travel recommendation system that produced sequential personalized itineraries, automated POI extraction via the Wikimedia API, and demonstrated improved accuracy over baseline models.

I have implemented encoder-decoder and RNN/LSTM architectures for next-word prediction, handled data preprocessing and scalable data loading, and benchmarked models with metrics such as accuracy and perplexity. I contribute in team leadership roles, have organized major technical and cultural events, and seek to apply my AI/ML and system-design skills to impactful production or research projects.
