Alyssa Rose Absalon

I am a cum laude graduate in Public Administration with a minor in Economics from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, combining strong academic grounding with applied policy work. I have formal training in sustainable development through UP-CIFAL and relevant coursework in economics, public finance, and administration.

In my current role as an Investments Specialist at the Philippine Board of Investments, I develop policy inputs, industry roadmaps, and trade strategies for sectors including Education, Book Publishing, and Creatives. I lead investor outreach, industry briefings, socio-economic benefit analyses, and produce presentations, reports, and speeches for diverse stakeholders and principals.

Previously, as a Planning Officer I at the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute, I managed performance-based bonus processes, ISO document control, agency planning coordination, and submission of budget and financial reports to external agencies such as NEDA, DBM, COA, and the House of Representatives. I supported administrative operations and ensured compliance with reporting timelines.

I bring strong Microsoft Office skills, bilingual communication in English and Filipino, and strengths in external relations, marketing, analytical thinking, and detail-focused project execution. I am motivated by collaborative leadership and building strategic initiatives that foster industry growth and measurable socio-economic impact.
