What I'm looking for

I’m looking for opportunities in epidemiology and clinical/public health research where I can manage research data in REDCap and EMR, support IRB-aligned study workflows, and contribute to evidence-based projects that improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes.

I’m an MPH graduate in Epidemiology at UTHealth Houston, combining rigorous public health training with a strong clinical foundation as a dental surgeon. In my current Integrative Learning Experiences (ILE) Research Intern role, I’m building an epidemiologic study on prenatal aspirin exposure and maternal milk volume—starting with literature review, then moving through IRB protocol development and study design.

I create REDCap data collection instruments, maintain screening and study logs, and extract maternal and neonatal variables from Epic electronic medical records to prepare clean analytic datasets (including variable dictionaries and data documentation). Previously, I’ve worked as a Data Collector and Practicum Intern supporting NICU research through EMR chart review, accurate case documentation, study variable dictionary development, and data quality checks, and I’m motivated to produce evidence that improves health outcomes and informs public health practice.
