What I'm looking for

I'm looking to apply my epidemiology, surveillance, and data-quality experience to public-health work that turns reliable data into clear reporting, prevention recommendations, and meaningful improvements.

At the New Mexico Department of Health, I analyzed statewide hospitalization, emergency-department, mortality, BRFSS, injury, and surveillance data to guide prevention programs and leadership decisions.

I led the analysis and authorship of the 2023 New Mexico Child Fatality Review Report, integrating mortality, healthcare, surveillance, and case-review information into publication-quality findings and prevention recommendations.

I've built reproducible procedures for data cleaning, merging, validation, quality control, and discrepancy resolution. I also validated the New Mexico Violent Death Reporting System Power BI dashboard, reviewing measure logic and source-to-output consistency.

My MPH in Epidemiology and MBBS ground my work in both population health and clinical operations, including communicable-disease surveillance, NIH-funded research, infection prevention, and patient safety.
