What I'm looking for

I seek roles applying NLP and deep learning to real-world problems within collaborative, ethical teams that value impact, learning, and practical deployment.

I am a machine learning engineer specializing in natural language processing and deep learning, with hands-on experience using RWKV and LLaMA models for social-impact applications like mental health detection from social media. I combine academic training in computer science with practical project experience from pair-programming and team-based engineering courses.

My projects include SyntaxAI, a multilingual text‑analysis web app leveraging SpaCy, DisplaCy, KeyBERT, BERTopic and Hugging Face models, and a mental-health detection pipeline using Twitter data for preprocessing, training, and evaluation. I have built full‑stack prototypes (Firebase, React + ShadCN, Vite) and tested them with Vitest and Cypress.

I bring cross-cultural adaptability from Erasmus+ participation, a collaborative peer-learning approach from 42 Florence, and operational discipline from roles in airport customs network security and volunteer hackathon work. I seek roles where I can apply NLP and deep-learning skills to real-world, ethically guided problems.
