I'm a Senior iOS Engineer with 6 years of experience building production apps in FinTech, retail tech and enterprise mobile. I'm based in Graz, Austria (CET) and work remotely as a B2B contractor.

Most recently at SymphonyAI I started in the R&D team as the only iOS developer, building an on-device ML library (TensorFlow Lite) that checks photo quality in real time: blur, framing and shelf coverage. I worked closely with Android, Rust and AR engineers, and shipped the library as an SDK to the main Store Intelligence app. Later I moved to that app team and owned several features end to end, including orientation-aware auto-rotation and a configurable retry flow for heavy uploads. The moment I'm most proud of: a critical camera preview bug that nobody on the team could reproduce, discovered right before a contract deadline. I tracked it down and fixed it on my own under serious time pressure, and we delivered on time and kept a major enterprise client. I also interviewed candidates, mentored new developers and was the go-to person for legacy Objective-C.

Before that I spent two years at BIFIT building banking apps used by millions of people. I owned the Payments module, the biggest and most business-critical part of the app, started the move from UIKit to SwiftUI and integrated Face ID / Touch ID.

My stack: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, MVVM, VIPER, TDD, Core ML / TensorFlow Lite, Objective-C, Fastlane, App Store Connect. I use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) every day and treat their output like any other code: tests and review first.

What I care about besides clean code: small details that make a product feel polished, like smooth animations, a calmer UI, a refactor nobody asked for but everyone benefits from. I like talking to designers, QA and product people and pushing back when a requirement doesn't make sense.

I'm looking for remote iOS roles, full-time contract or long-term project work, ideally in FinTech, HealthTech or products using on-device ML/AI. English C1, German B1, Russian native.
