What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build end-to-end production AI—CV, NLP, and LLM/RAG—using strong MLOps and HIPAA-aware engineering. I want a team that values measurable impact, clear architecture docs, and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

I design and deploy production AI systems end-to-end, combining applied research with real-world engineering. I’m a co-inventor on a granted US Patent in computer vision health-tech and an IEEE-published author on LLM frameworks, with 5+ years delivering AI solutions for US startups.

As Lead AI/ML Engineer at Hibiscus Health, I developed and deployed patented CV pipelines to extract rPPG signals from 50 GB of facial videos. I used multi-threading to speed up inference by 8x and trained/evaluated models to predict health risks like hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetes (AUCs > 0.8).

I also built HIPAA-compliant data engineering and MLOps foundations—an ETL pipeline for 80+ videos, model-ready feature transformation, and automated CI/CD for AWS Lambda deployment via GitHub Actions. On the LLM side, I built LLM/RAG pipelines around LLaMA for nutritional guidance, meal plan generation, and sentiment classification, with AWS Lambda functions for mobile app integration.

Previously, I fine-tuned a BERT-based text classifier to predict anxiety and depression probabilities, reducing false positives by 20% while achieving strong vocabulary coverage (F1 score of 93%). I built HIPAA-compliant ETL for FHIR health records, implemented monitoring for model drift/anomaly flagging, and optimized an ONNX model to reduce inference latency by 25% while integrating PyTorch NLP into a Django backend with Celery.
